About the Authors:
Dr Mahmood Ali Ayub has been an economist throughout his professional life, working with the World Bank and the United Nations for about thirty-five years. Over the last decade, he has been drawn passionately to literature, especially Persian poetry. He is fluent in Pashto, Urdu, Farsi, English, Spanish and French.
Dr Shahab Aziz Arman is a renowned poet, literary analyst, researcher, critic, TV anchor, educationalist and journalist. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in Classical Pashto literature.
