Dr. Yazdani's commentary includes explanations for each couplet that clarify both the immediate meanings at hand and their deeper contextual resonance. Particularly helpful are the extensive dictionary entries (nearly 100 pages), which not only serve to unlock difficult expressions and layered metaphors but will also be very helpful for anyone hoping to learn more Persian by reading.
Moreover, this is a beautifully produced edition—thoughtfully designed, printed on high-quality paper, and bound to last. The publishing standards are truly excellent, making it a pleasure to read and display. Delivery was impressively quick, and the price is very reasonable as well. I am grateful for Sangemeel's distinguished role in disseminating Iqbal's works and pray for their continued success.
