What a wonderful, humanising read. We know Manto second-hand in light of other people's opinion and perceptions. But it's been a treat to read Manto through the lens of Manto, and what an enlightening introduction it has been.
I'm a huge fan of Manto and this book was in my wishlist and couldn't help buy it........ from page quality to binding and cover everything about this book is amazing.... it was not a long wait to receive my book... loving it🤩
I read how this book is compiled.. from the compilation of Manto's writings to the binding and design of the book which is just amazing!! one of the best part of this book is it has english translation and since i am very bad at Urdu jargons so I can understand the context by looking at the english translation side.. I have read Manto's writings earlier but reading them in this black case-manto's quotes engraved-hard cover is just next level.. just reliving Manto... I am pleased to have this masterpiece in my shelf! well articulated!!
The overall book is good, however I do wish the pages were a little sturdy and the binding a little more proper.
the book I have has white binding showing on the black pages,
But the work of Manto is everlasting so I am happy something is compiled in his honor to keep his literature alive
Inspiring
A beautiful endeavor for Manto fans - amazing layout and great attention to detail. A high quality production - makes it a feast for the senses as well as for the intellect.
Good quality
"Manto Centenary" brilliantly captures the fearless essence of Saadat Hasan Manto, celebrating his unflinching exploration of society's darkest corners. A must-read for those who appreciate raw, thought-provoking literature.

The quality is really good and the effort in compilation is commendable.
I am huge fan of manto, and always wanted to have his book. When this book was published; I added it to wishlist. On azadi sale, I couldn't restrain myself from not buying. It reached very fast with best quality and best packaging (better than any other Pakistani online store )
I bought other books ( raja gidh and zavia ) and am extremely satisfied with sang e meel publications.
I think they should print English ( international) books too, so we can get best quality in them too.

This is a comprehensive collection of Manto's work. Both in English and Urdu, it allowed me to read it in two languages side by side and enjoy the works even more than before. Nicely printed, and the calligraphy in it gives it a very unique touch
