Clinical Stories - Dr. Munawar Aziz

Dr. Munawar was born and educated in Peshawar. After completing high school at Cantt Public School, F.Sc at Edwardes College,and M,B.,B,S at Khyber Medical College, he started his medical career as a Registrar in the Chest and Medical Unit at Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar after doing one year house job, He was then deputed to Benghazi, Libya, where he served as a Senior Medical Officer for nine years.

Returning to Pakistan, he started his private consultation clinic in Abbottabad and also obtained his MCPS in Family Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP).During the Indo-Pak War of 1971, he also served as a Captain in the Pakistan Army for a couple of months, earning the Tamgha-e-Jang award.

Dr. Munawar continues his medical practice as a family physician in Abbottabad to this day.
