The present book is a sequel of another book entitled Mawlana Rumi: Bridge of East and West (2004) and it intends to bring together the most important studies about Rumi’s life, works and teachings, authored by the leading scholars of the east and the west. Thus, an attempt has been made to provide an indispensable source for students of Rumi and for scholars wishing to do further research on the poet. This collection is initially designed on the pattern of a turkish book under the title Mevlana Celalettin Rumi’nin Sark ve Farp’ta tesirleri (Ankara: Gutenberg-Marbaasi 1963).
